PROJECT PHOENIX8

Second Auction for a Gold-Plated PP8 Bullion Coin

Celebrating the public opening of the Online Industrial Exchange (OIX), which the first phase is expected to start in March 2023, we will conduct an auction of one gold-plated bullion PP8 coin.

Although the first step of OIX will be trading Industrial Tokens (iTos), the commodity exchange will also contain a special section for auctions and other charity activities led by the We4Next Nation movement. (You will be informed about everything in time.)

Today, we inform you about special news concerning all PP8 gold-plated bullion coin holders.

In one of the previous articles, we already announced that in Q1, we would conduct a second public auction for the PP8 gold-plated coin, which every early supporter of Project Phoenix8 received.

This article provides a few more details regarding the whole procedure. The information is valid for PP8 early supporters only.

Please note if you own PP8 iTos but do not have a bullion coin yet – like the one in the photo above – don’t worry. We will carry out a campaign in January and February to check who received the coin. If you are one of the few who have not received it yet, we will deliver it to you before the auction.

All PP8 iTos holders will be entered into the draw

Once we are sure that all early supporters have received their coins, we will start the process.

First, we will draw a random number, for each bullion coin has its unique number. To make it fair and transparent, no one involved in the drawing will know the connection between the numbers and the owners.

Once the number has been drawn, the lucky winner will be contacted and get a chance to contribute the coin to the auction or not.

For some, the decision will be easy. For others, it may be more difficult. The unique PP8 bullion coin may have great collector value in the future as it was issued in a very limited series. In addition, it is the first bullion coin released by Themis Ecosystem, giving it exceptional value.

So it’s no surprise that the first company-contributed coin fetched a staggering US $20,000 at its first auction last year. Will this time the coin hit a similar or even higher price at the auction? Nobody knows.

If the winner does not decide to contribute the bullion coin and prefers to keep it, we will repeat the draw and the whole process until we get a candidate willing to sell his bullion coin at the auction.

After drawing, we will put the gold-plated bullion coin up for auction

Once we have arranged all the formalities regarding the bullion coin collection from the owner, we will put it up for auction. We will invite important company representatives, business partners, and other supporters of Project Phoenix8 and green technologies to bid.

The auction will give them a unique opportunity to own a rare coin that cannot be purchased anywhere at any price. It was intended exclusively for early supporters.

We are still arranging the last technical conditions of the auction, but we will certainly adjust the procedure to be as simple and transparent as possible. Each bidder will also have the opportunity to see the coin live before bidding if they wish.

The bidding will occur according to the principle of increasing the price in real time. Bidders will be able to attend the auction online or by phone. The bidder who offers the highest price will win. Within a few days after the end of the auction, he will transfer the agreed amount of money to the seller (the former owner of the coin), taking into account the legal obligations.

The buyer will take care of the payment of taxes and commissions on his side and the seller on his. (We suggest the lucky seller contact an accountant or tax advisor.)

Note that once you decide to put your coin up for auction, there is no turning back. With this move, you accept the risk of what price the coin will sell for. If it sells for less than you want or expect, neither you nor we can do much about it.

The other decision the lucky owner would need to take is what to do with the money. If they wish, we can donate it to charity on their behalf. Of course, they can also contribute money – or some of it – to charity under their own direction. Or, they can keep the money for themselves.

Actions required by the owner of the PP8 bullion coin

What should you do if you are a holder of a PP8 bullion gold coin and want/don’t want to put your bullion coin up for auction? Absolutely nothing. All PP8 iTos holders are automatically included in the draw. If you are the lucky winner, you will be contacted personally by a company representative who will also manage all further procedures with you.

The procedures and preparations will take place in January and February and be executed presumably in March 2023. If it happens that you do not have your bullion coin and no one will contact you during this time, please get in touch with us.

After the draw and bidding, we will prepare a public release summarizing the key points. (We will not reveal names publicly for data protection unless the winner agrees.)

The entire process will take place in the company’s organization, ensuring professionalism and data protection. Senior company representatives will monitor the proceedings at all times.

The company and all participants will not charge commissions or costs for any activity directly or indirectly related to the auction. Everyone from the organization committee perceives the event as a charitable activity. All have waived payment and will contribute their work for free.

We wish you good luck in the draw! If you are a lucky winner and submit your coin to the auction, we cross our fingers for the coin to reach a high price.
