Now it is official. Recycling waste plastic is no longer a “must have to look good” or because of corporate social responsibility. It is becoming mainstream. Even National Geographic magazine dedicated one issue of their magazine to the problem by headlining it “Planet of Plastic?” They especially targeted single-use packaging.
To fortify their points and stand behind the words, they announced the radical change of their own wrappings. Three big editions – India, United Kingdom and America – will no longer be delivered in plastic but in paper packing. They will remove from the market 30 million plastic bags with that activity alone!
