As summer progresses, Themis Ecosystem is gradually gettings its final form. The main focus remains on the first European factory in Slovenia, but the teams are working on many other supplemental projects. “Right now, we acceleratingly work on many business fronts,” the founder Roberto Hroval confirmed. “We decided to launch all the projects that were supposed to be kicked off step by step, but all together.”
The founder said the engineering and operational teams are working around the clock to finish one of the final phases of building the factory. The operation is coordinated and supervised by an international team, which will leave the EU in August.
Themis Ecosystem, a unique environment where the best technologies meet supporters
The Themis Ecosystem philosophy is based on digitalizing selected tangible products and offering them to the masses. First, the most potent, future-oriented, but proven projects from the in-demand industries join Themis Ecosystem. Then, their end-products are transformed into special e-vouchers called IRMU (Industrial Raw Material Unit), also known as an iTo.
Each project, also called the driver, will issue its own IRMUs or iTos with a unique code. For example, Project Phoenix8 issued PP8 iTo/IRMU, the Biomass Ultima project has already prepared (but not launched yet) two billion BU iTos/IRMUs, etc.
Then, IRMUs are offered to interested parties via a newly-built exchange called Online Industrial Exchange or OIX. The OIX will function like a raw material store based on supply and demand, offering an exclusive, real-time trading experience.
In the background, part of the team is already preparing a third driver, an exclusive sludge treatment technology. According to the plans, it should get its own factory in the EU by the end of February 2024. Later on, three new ones will be added.
Boosting the value of the iTos through four key improvements
One of the team’s main focuses is how to create maximum value for the existing participants and all future iTo (IRMU) buyers. The company made four key improvements.
First, the engineering team has worked hard in the last few months to implement the reactor’s latest technological changes. The process is greatly improved. The result is cleaner, cheaper, and overall better economic efficiency, way beyond expected.
Additional gas cleaning allows a better and larger amount of by-products. “We have come below the magic limit of purity that supports using smaller engines. This changes everything. Biomass processing will be 30% cheaper. For future buyers of this technology, it means a lower price, faster production and implementation, more by-products, a greater profit, and, consequently, a faster capital turnover. If until now we had factory 3.0, we upgraded it to version 7.0,” adds Hroval.
All the upgrades made the plant unique, for this is the first reactor with such a contemporary combination of upgrades.
The expansion plan has also changed, as specialized teams will do the scaling process centrally. The company formed two teams, an engineering group and one operational group, with state-of-the-art equipment. The teams will design and build future factories exclusively.
The second improvement that will add a massive value to the waste-to-energy plant and the whole Themis Ecosystem is the creation of two new by-products. The first is bitumen, and the other is wood vinegar. An additional exclusive reactor for the molecular degradation of hydrocarbons was added for that purpose.
Organic carbon, used in agriculture and medicine, and wood vinegar, a highly sought-after, highly prized, and expensive liquid, will carry an already established brand John´s Organic Roots.
Both products will be created out of final waste and won’t diminish the production of the main product, green electricity, and the main by-product, organic carbon.
The third way to boost the value of the project and, consequently IRMUs is adding a newly developed module to the main factory. The team decided on green vertical farming, growing high-quality vegetables. The first products will be three different cultures that can be sold for around 3€ per kilogram on average. The process will also create an excellent CO2 reduction of 2,200 kilograms per unit.
In the future, more and more modules will be attached. For every megawatt of installed electricity, twenty modules can be added.
Later, the team will add a lab-grown diamonds-producing module as well.
The fourth way to boost the price of IRMUs is an additional local promotion of the Themis Ecosystem. In that regard, the company will place a unique anti-stress technology known as Asclepius8. The technology will allow everyone to relax naturally with the help of plant essences, unique sounds, and selected colors.
All technologies, plants, and modules are already developed, awaiting a final launch.
Other activities are developing according to the plan Roberto Hroval confirmed
But Slovenia, EU, is only one of the epicenters of activities. A little beyond the border of the European Community, in Switzerland, another team is preparing a new business and legal environment for the OIX and all other required business entities. Namely, all essential management operations will be moved to this country.
The team selected Switzerland after careful analysis and consultations with experts regarding the most business-friendly long-term business conditions.
“At the end of the day, everything works out five times better than planned, says Hroval. “The secret of success lies in a good organization, a top-notch, experienced, well-coordinated team, consistency, openness to innovation, and constant action.”
